はいたい！しけーぬうちなーんちゅぬぐすーよー、ちゅうがなびら。わんねー永田和香子やいびーん。いっぺーゆたしくうにげーさびら（＾＾）私は現在、琉球大学の4年生で、２００６年8月ー２００７年７月までハワイ大学に交換留学をしていました。この留学を通し、沖縄を誇りに思い、その将来を真剣に考えている皆様が世界中にいらっしゃることを実感し、心強く、幸せに思っています。と同時に、沖縄に住む者として、よりよい沖縄を築いていく責任があると感じています。これから、このHPを通して皆様とネットワークを築き、繋げていてたらどんなに素晴らしいかと思います。どうぞ、ゆたしく！！！！My name is Wakako Nagata. Haisai, my name is Toshimitsu Mataytoshi,
I am an Obuchi Scholarship Student sponsored by the East West Center in Hawai'i.
I am also a Hawai'i Foreign Correspondent of the Okinawa Times.

はいたい。Hello Waka and everybody. My name is Mami. I came from Naha, and I'm now studying at UH as a graduate student. (MA in American Studies) This website is wonderful since it connects Uchinauchu all over the world and enables us to discuss many topics related to Okinawa. After I came to Hawaii, I met many Uchinanchu, especially WUB members, who really care about Okinawa and working hard to develop the human network. I was so surprised and felt that I would like to contribute to the community, too. This is a good opportunity for me to think more about my homeland.
